In 2020 he was awarded a position as an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer within the Centre for Psychiatry (London School of Medicine & Dentistry at Queen Mary University), where he teaches and supervises medical students and forms part of the interview panel for new students.
Dr Campos holds a Masters in Medical Acupuncture and works as an NHS Honorary Medical Acupuncturist at the Royal London Hospital for Integrated Medicine (University College London Hospital), he also lectures in medical acupuncture and is a trustee of the British Medical Acupuncture Society.
To further his pharmaceutical knowledge of the latest treatments and studies, he holds a consulting role with a number of pharmaceutical companies and is regularly invited to deliver talks on pharmacological treatments and lifestyle interventions mainly focused on the link between nutrition and mental health. Dr Campos is a medical doctor whom previously worked as an Associate Specialist in Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) in the NHS, who firmly believes that excellent care can only stem from the integration between physical and mental health.
In 2014 he first met and worked with Dr Giaroli in child and adolescent psychiatry in the NHS. Dr Campos supports psychosocial interventions and strong evidence-based complementary therapies where appropriate and he has in-depth experience in both pharmacological treatments and lifestyle interventions, with a special interest in the link between nutrition and mental health.
Dr Campos graduated in Medicine and Surgery in Trieste, Italy, where he worked as a primary care physician. Following his move to the UK and after a period spent working in general medicine, he trained in psychiatry within the NHS (North East London Foundation Trust).
He underwent specialist training in assessing patients with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Defecit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and attended several courses and masterclasses educating him in a range of psychological interventions which he continues to integrate
